• We're off to Portland!! - Hal and I have been together close to three years now.  Hal has devoted practically every Sunday since then to his studies whilst I get to spend Sundays hanging with Samael7 and Zman.  This weekend, finally, Hal graduates with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University and I am sooo proud of him.  Woo-hoo a doctor in the family!  We'll be staying at Hotel De Luxe.  Thanks to Zman for taking care of Chase, the birds and our place while we are away.  This is my first time to Portland, and I've been looking forward to the opportunity of visiting.  Although we have plans on our extended weekend (dinner with his colleage, etc.) I look forward to checking out the nightlife and clubs on Saturday night.

    

  Chase Update -   Chase has been doing great.  He's growing up so fast but he is still all puppy.  We took him to the dog park up in Corona Heights last weekend.  Who knew beagles are the "in" dog now?  Everyone in the park got a kick out of Chase when he was the "fox" all the beagles chased! I took these pictures the last time I brought him to the office.  He's too big and wiley now and I hardly got any work done until he napped in the later afternoon! I love him!

  Planning Our Next Vacation - We are planning to take a two week vacation in Berlin come October.  This is my second time to Europe and I'm glad we are planning early.  I have to get another passport (lost my first one last year).
