What? Don't look at me - I didn't do it! - Actually, Chase
did do it. He made us fall in love with him. He's really happy and has adapted effortlessly at home. The birds are not so freaked out now although I'm sure he really would love to play with them (good luck with that!). We took him to the vet yesterday for his first in a series of four appointments for his vaccinations etc. and got a clean bill of health. He's much more adventurous than Rex, whereas Rex was really gentle. We took him over to a friend's house yesterday and we placed a plastic bowl for water for him. It immediately became a splashy toy for him. Go figure - we have a water dog. I went online this morning to get him a
cheap pool from Target for some future sunny day on the deck. Gotta keep him entertained until we can take him to the park to play with the other dogs (in four months).

are you taking Chase to Dolores Park tomorrow for the festivities?
Unfortunately I can't take him to the park until he has all his shots (4 month period) but you'll definitely meet him way before then. Hal and I are planning a celebratory party when he graduates with his doctorate next month.
