• Wow, the Holidays are over! This past holiday season was fun and I made it pretty much unscathed.  Santa was good to me, Hal and Rex. Hal and I attended two Christmas Eve parties and we exchanged gifts at home afterwards. I got some Christmas bling - I guess I was a good boy this past year - yay!   Check it out -

  

  Rich - "Awwwww, Hal.  How did you ever know my ring size?" Hal - "My gosh, don't you know it's been on all known broadcasts!"

  

  This cool titanium bracelet was a real nice surprise, and no, that's not my wrist!  - thanks Hal! Rex got treats to last for weeks, while Hal got cool ammonite and trilobite fossils and a 7" flat screen LCD TV for traveling.  It was a fun past couple of weeks, reveling out and about and hosting a small group of close friends this past New Year's Eve.  Work will be slow for another couple of weeks until the real estate market picks up again, hopefully sooner than later.  Meanwhile, I'm all shopped out, all I want to do is lay low now.  We're planning a group outing for a ski weekend up in Tahoe come mid-February and we have a few already commited.  I don't ski, I'd rather resort, so I'll be at the chalet, of course. Have a great week, everyone!
